Winged words and so lightweight that the book may fly out of one's hands in the slightest summer breeze unless clasped firmly between the gin-&-tonic glass and the cheese dip tray on the terrace where it is no doubt meant to be read. Some lines from the opening verse tell it all (""I am writing this book to say,/ 'Love one another,'/ This is not a very original statement--""), but, like most truly execrable poetry, the book is shot through with unwitting humor: ""They say that two people who are happily married for a long time/ come to look like one another./ I have also heard that people tend to look like their dogs.
