Here, in expressive, colloquial, lyrical mountain dialect, are scenes of boyhood and manhood, of life in the coal mining camps, of finding a homeplace, of a locust summer, a drummer medicine man, a molassess stir-off, a sparkin' scrape, and of other folks. Limited, I'm afraid.
