Random reminiscing by the author of Please Don't Eat The Daisies (that WAS a double play title) includes further incidents of family, public and private life, additional comments on the world today (you do want to brush up on manners for children, don't you?), takeoffs on current suds operations, MEN, and assorted views of ""this is my life and this is how I live it"". Where her humor hits, it fits fine and perhaps Letters of Protest I Never Sent might have the all-market appeal but her stories about her mother, or about her own growing up, or about the Things that unhinge her (and some of these include her theatrical experiences) are the trifling trivia that are very funny in retrospect. And this is a gal you can depend on to write them right. Daisies had a high hysteria level -- this scrambles towards it -- does not always achieve it -- but when it does --laugh out loud.
