The basic idea is to increase complex carbohydrates, decrease animal protein, and limit the intake of fats. Jones (Jeanne Jones Food Lovers Diet, etc.) explains why this is a healthy diet (and how exercise can complement it); covers how to shop and organize a kitchen (""always include emergency supplies for unexpected occasions""); and outlines the best cooking methods to meet her dietary goals. Last, she takes up ""Jet Fuel in Motion"" (traveling, brown-bagging, and being a guest) and ""Jet Age Psychology."" Namely: ""prepare yourself for takeoff, because after a week on Jet Fuel you are going to experience a new natural high that is so fabulous you may well wonder what is wrong with you.""
