THE HAPPY HOLLISTERS AT MYSTERY MOUNTAIN; THE HAPPY HOLLISTERS AT SNOW FLAKE CAMP

Continuing the series started last year (see p. 385) the first of these takes the Hollisters- Ricky, Pete, Sue, Holly, Pam and their parents, out to a friend's ranch in New Mexico. There they stumble on a mystery that not only reveals a cave full of old Indian relics but an underground stream that will provide a new water supply for the whole district. In the second, they pay a Thanksgiving visit to their grandparents' tourist camp in Canada- and do their bit for the community there too. For by winning a sled race, Pete the eldest incurs the anger of two crooks who are after his lead dog Fluff, and their trickery backfires to catch them red handed. Extremely patterned, these have a Bobbsey twin effervescence and a contrivance to their wide-eyed climaxes.
