HOW MEDICINE MAN CURED PALEFACE WOMAN

A story in text and pictographs of the Plains Indians tells an elemental tale and by way of it there is a good deal of value about the Plains Indians themselves. As Chief High Eagle and Man With Heart venture forth, find a pale face man and his wife who is sick from cold and hunger and bring them back to the safety of their camp, the pictures tell the story quite graphically. As readers get used to the they'll have fun blocking off the words below and reading from the pictures alone. A note at the back tells more about Indian picture writing. An attractively bound book, firmly reinforced, this is a solid item for new interests.
