by Jim Woodman ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
A book which nicely balances the practical everyday with overall historical information and takes in the peninsula of Mexico, Guatemala as well as Yucatan, as many travelers do today. It gives a sense of the history, the geography, the peoples and their way of life, the mystery of the ""lost cities,"" from which one is translated to the present and the perfect vacation spot Cozumel, and on to Guatemala (a chapter suggests that more could be written). Mr. Woodman is an enthusiastic guide who shares the excitement of discovery with his readers and provides the wherewithal of such items as transportation, clothes, itineraries, and in an appendix, a City by City Index.
