POISONOUS RELATIONS

The inflexibly prejudiced probe of Price, of Scotland Yard, into the death of Elizabeth Hudson, one of the paying guests and unpleasant relations of Sir Charles d'Estray, impoverished but still feudal. Price, who bridles easily against aristocrats, finds it also easy to dislike Bunny, Sir Charles' second wife, young, continental, casual,- accepts the accusations made against her, leaves it to Bunny to clear herself by catching the true criminal... The browning off here of British types and traditions lends a gay touch.
