Who knows just what will turn up at old Mr. Samson's Haven by the Sea: the frazzled Flame who has seen better days but still sings; or the attractive dilettante painter nearby who might, just might, love Primrose enough; or a job on the Beverage Beacon; or a body in a washing machine at the laundromat. Who knows, on this garden path strewn with improvident impulses, you might just stub your little toe on the unmitigated cuteness.
