BACKFIELD TWINS

With twenty odd books to his credit, many of them with sports backgrounds, Joe Archibald's record speaks for itself. Backfield Twins is no slick, superficial job. It comes to grips with problems of subsidy for athletes, of cheating in exams, of putting the college athletic standing ahead of its scholastic standing. And in addition, it takes a team made up of such definite personalities that the battles are not all on the gridiron. This is a football story- and the game and practice details will delight the fans, while the human interest atmosphere widens its value.
