FIGHT TEAM FIGHT

Tradition versus progress seems to be the theme of this football packed story of young Jim's freshman year at an exclusive men's college. His father, a staunch believer in the desirability of discrimination is appalled at his son's refusal to stick with his ""own kind"". Jim, on the other hand, realizes that the one hope for his school team is not to encourage bought talent, but to include that vigorous crop of young men who do not necessarily rate in his father's world. A good coach, and lots of spunk on the team's part, proves Jim right. There is enough football here and enough valid conflict to make this somewhat familiar story popular with sport-minded readers.
