by John Baillie ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
Twenty years ago the eminent Scottish theologian, Dr. John Baillie, created one of the landmarks of modern theological writing, Our Knowledge of God. The demand for it has continued to be steady and strong through the years, so that now a new printing has been issued. Dr. Baillie has thought it best that the book be republished without changes, and it is likely that new readers will find the book as satisfying as the first edition, so adequately has the author dealt with eternal themes which are basically changeless, no matter how transient the world of any particular generation. Another teacher of theology calls the book ""profound in insight, wide in its sympathy, generous in its appreciation of differing positions, and most deeply Christian."" It is to be highly commended to all who seek an introduction to theological thinking.
