There are Father's enthusiasms, in all directions, his garrulity, his inventiveness, his originality; there are anecdotes galore, of streets places, accidents, candy, movies, ways of earning pin money, family vicissitudes; then the quickening tempo of college, of jobs, of the break-up of the family. Nostalgic, agreeable reminiscences.
