THE PRIVATE FACE OF MURDER

Inspector Borgas makes his second appearance (Better Off Dead- 1964 p. 326) and again there is a hint of blackmail connected with two seemingly accidental deaths. Audrey de Lamplew was an ex-actor, ex-alcoholic who had turned to working ""Deals"" in Real Estate and who had a strange hook-up with his tape-recorder. Mrs. Linda Huntingdon had been beautiful, bored and lonely. Her target was Kenneth Blacksall, devoted husband and father. But all is not as cut and dried as the Spanish landscape. Easy to read, easy to forget.
