THE DUKE DECIDES

Not as good a book as The Iron Duke, but at that much better than most in its field. The hero of the earlier book is now in his Senior year, captain of the track team and taking defeat as he took victory. His unassuming character wins friends and honors: his running wins him a place on the Olympic team. Inside story of how coaches are used and abused and how stars help build up money gates. Interesting and not overdone
