EYE WITNESS

Strange is a versatile crime writer, but at his best when the criminal procedure of a city police system forms the modus operandi. Eye Witness involves an attractive actress, who chanced to get a good look at the murderer of a woman in a beauty parlor- and who therefore poses a threat to the intricate web of gangsters. Two other murders and a kidnapping muddy the situation further, and it takes the honest cop to uncover the police department involvement before the finale in high crescendo is achieved. Slick.
