REMEMBER JACK HOXIE

Pop in pop music when a clean-cut blond English type, Bob Norvil, is accompanied on the rock-and-riches trail by Patrick, his dandy Dad, in this Pat Boone lullaby. Son Bob aspires to the heights as a singer under the frenetic management of Brian O'Brien, successful young impresario, and Patrick is coaxed to give up his insurance job and travel with Bob for a folksy Dad-son uplift image. As Bob bellows on throughout England and America, Patrick heavies through the hip; falls in love with Suzanne, Brian's gal Friday, who won't say yes while the memory of Pat's deceased wife is still green; rescues Bob from mobs, abortion-implication, a busting when marijuana is planted in his suitcase, etc. Pat daddies young songbirds on the tour, and they rescue him from jail when he is about to take the rap for Bob's pot-laden valise. Pat marries Suzanne, of course. Who is Jack Hoxie? No more worth remembering than the rest of the cast.
