A SOUND OF LIGHTNING

Lightning might sound like the gun, a Hot Six, with which Montana's #1 man is shot--or again the flash romance between his widow, Grace, and the British Jack Random, new general manager of her Anglo-American company. Grace is tough, beautiful and susceptible but she's not only going to inherit still more millions, when copper mines start producing, she's also going to run for the Senate in her husband's stead. Which doesn't leave quite enough for Jack although the story holds together until the original shooting is solved. . . . No bolt from the blue, although you'll find a few phrases just like that in what is essentially processed fiction, active enough of its kind.
