by Jonathan Latimer ‧ RELEASE DATE: Oct. 14, 1955
After a twenty year silence Latimer gives forth with a ribald, Front-Page-plus pile-up on murder which proves to be a framefitting for Globe-man, Sam Clay, who wakes up to a beautiful corpse in the next bed. His endeavors to get out of the frame while reporting the case for this paper, the efforts of his lawyer and his wife and the private eye they hire, the tie-in with an old Oklahoma bank robber, the feuding on the paper's staff and the power push of its owner -- add up to a pie-eyed line of fast-footed, even reeling, hunt for the killer. This should make some newcomers scratch a little harder.
