SEX. . . NOW THAT I'VE GOT YOUR ATTENTION, LET ME ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS!

For browsers, a round-up of current sexual concerns--illustrated by queries the author has received as a radio/TV host and therapist. Kuriansky fields inquiries from naive to bizarre on WCBS-TV and WABC radio, so she had plenty of cases to choose from in compiling this collection. They are loosely organized under such headings as ""Sexual Commitment,"" ""Sexual Rejection,"" ""Fantasies and Dreams,"" ""Nice People Do"". . . and ""Don't""--plus female and male sexuality, and family concerns. Kuriansky introduces each topic with general tips (there are also lots of self-tests on attitudes and beliefs) and, in answering questions, is understanding and accepting of just about everything. (The ""don'ts"" are violence and incest.) She is also relaxed and light-hearted. On her own Freudian slips, for instance: ""a boy of sixteen called and was worried because his mother's best friend was trying to seduce him. I said, 'Think long and hard before you get yourself into this.' "" Not comprehensive guidance--but comfortable words on some common concerns and curiosities.
