THE ART OF TEENAGE LIVING

More advice for teenagers that is basically the power of positive thinking. Most of the suggestions are traditional and deal with traditional confusions--who am I, clothes, dating--but there is no recognition of equally urgent phenomena such as drugs, drinking, or dropping out. Some problems have no easy answers (to be met with grin-and-bear-it resolve), others are treated summarily--altogether it reads like a catalog of cure-alls. And whether or not ""you feel strange stirrings inside yourself,"" being a teenager is no ""art.
