THE LAUGHTER TRAP

eter Styles, who had been run off the road deliberately a year before which cost him a leg and his father, returns to the Vermont ski lodge where the accident had occurred and again hears the maniacal laughter of a joy-killer. Before he can identity him, there are more stretcher cases: two girls are molested and murdered; another man is gored with a ski pole; and the original disaster splays off on a track of adultery... Some of this is not much more sensible than the violence with which it deals in semi-smooth fashion.
