BLOODY MARVELLOUS

Mark Elmer, a teacher somewhat at loose ends after his wife of sixteen years has left him, decides to go along on a packaged (hashish) tour to Spain with three others, including the bloody marvellous attractive Del, who will bring back some 36,000 pounds of the drug for a man called Chichester--unless they keep it themselves? Right in front and back of them are the Guardia Civil and one detective Sands of the Metropolitan Police anxious to get Chichester and particularly the big contractor at the top. Rathbone lends a literate touch without ever slowing down the activities and his story has couth and snap.
