THE PROGRESS OF A CRIME

The build up, promoted by a London newspaper, of a killing in the provinces which involves 5 boys under arrest, has its repercussions in the village of Far Wether and those spotlighted by the notoriety. Local police, Scotland Yard and top attorneys battle it out in court while one boy's family and a local newsman, harried on all sides, are helpless against the onslaught. Solidly backed criminal stuff here.
