Gideon's Week is just about like Gideon's Day, however in spite of the longer time span, he is preoccupied chiefly with two cases which serves to tighten the interest here. William Rose is accused of a murder and believed innocent by his sister and Gideon's daughter, and a mass escape from Millways jail is headed-by Benson, a killer. Benson's wife demands protection, but does not know that her son will be used by his father to avenge a long rankling hatred. Matter of fact, this is a British form of Dragnet.
