PLAIN CHANT FOR AMERICA

A post, where definition of her art as an ""expression of life, intense, concentrated"" is largely realized in her work. Poems, effective in concision, with strong rhythms, a with diversity of themes; many deal with today's ""world about to break""; others so landscapes (New Mexican), foreign lands, sketches. The last groups give the volume its same, and are designed for music chor poems -- and a few translations from the spanish. Intelligent, Intelligible, a good first collection.
