A dossier on the dedicated for those who may follow in their paths, this introduces, in the simplest terms, some examples of women whose faith led to the religious life. The stories of modern nuns include those of sister Miriam Michael, an expert in spectroscopy, and sister Mary Madeleva, president of St. Mary's College at Notre Dame. There are also the stories of the founders of the orders -- of St. Clare, St. Teresa of Avila and beatified Elizabeth Seton. Interspersed are descriptions of the various stages of a nun's training from postulant days to the final vow. While this will scarcely satisfy the more intellectual or mature, it should prove helpful to interested girls at the highschool level.
