BIRDS OF ILL OMEN

Disappointing denouement for a story against a languorous setting of a Mexican hacienda, and a promising mystery of identity. Sudden death- suicide- murder, and too many with motives for the last, lead up to the rapid recovery of two people supposedly out of the picture -- to an identification -- and to the discovery of the murderer whose involvement seems very second hand and unimportant. Not up to her others.
