THREE CENTURIES OF ADVANCE: Vol. III -- A History of the Expansion of Christianity

This volume covers the years from 1500 to 1800, and its sale should be made to all who have the earlier two volumes. They comprise a scholarly series, dealing with the Christian religion as a great cultural fact in world history. As such the market should be wider than the ecclesiastical market. The period covered in this volume is particularly important in view of the great expansion of the known world, and the concentration on Spanish America, French America, the British Colonies, Africa, the Indies, Russia and the Orient, make it comprehensive in appeal. The work is to consist, ultimately, of six or seven volumes. Public library and college use, with special emphasis on religious libraries and outlets.
