THE TYPHOON SHIPMENTS

Not all the tea but all the scag in Indochina seems to be reaching the U.S. some way and two agents -- Dan Gilmore and Ralph Siddler (the latter is based in Saigon -- an inimitable character under all that bloat) try to figure out the source and the conveyor belt -- namely via the ""Remains Not Suitable for Viewing"" in transit to the funeral parlor and Arlington Cemetery. . . . Two Washington Post writers collaborate here and this is just as eviscerating as it's intended to be, punchy too, and aimed at the midriff of any man around the house.
