Starting off in Hong Kong, the ""last stronghold of feudal luxury,"" which none other equalled, he went on to Macao, Tokyo, Honolulu, Los Angeles and Vegas, Chicago and New York (which he enjoyed least), Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna, Geneva, Naples and Monte Carlo- deliberately omitting Paris (too big), Istambul (too Asiatic) and Venice (a cliche). connoisseur Fleming comments here and there on hotels, restaurants and cuisine, and the night life from gambling, wherever available, to girls, and there's nothing here you'll find in Fielding or Olson... A conducted tour of the nightspots and fleshpots sin-dictated toward his following who will find him a suave host.
