by Laurence Housman ‧ RELEASE DATE: April 1, 1938
Again reprints -- of two Housman volumes out of print in America for a good many years. Librarians please note, since the requests to reprint have come through story-tellers and librarians. The stories have all the true and tried ingredients, kings and queens and princes and princesses and wicked magicians and good fairies and dwarfs and elves and wishes-coming-true and so on and on. The original woodcuts by Clemence Housman are a bit dated, but seem an integral part of the whole.
