CHARLIE BROWN AND CHARLIE SCHULZ

We have not seen the 95 photos and 75 Schulz drawings which will undoubtedly give these rag-bag leftovers of interviews and accounts of Schulz' public career, a reason for being. Mr. Mendelson has been involved in TV and cinema productions for the Peanuts gallery and this is something of a shill game. Mr. Schulz on the other hand, is a man of few, but very well chosen, words as in the article he wrote for the Saturday Review (included here): ""I really cannot talk about Charlie Brown, Linus or Lucy as individuals. I can draw them and think of things for them to do, but I do not talk well about them."" You're a good man, Charlie Schulz!
