by Leonard Daventry ‧ RELEASE DATE: Nov. 5, 1965
The novel reads like a long opening chapter that throws a jumble of ideas in and out of bed with the participants. The year is 2090 (post Bomb). Claus Coman and his two wives set out for a vacation. Actually it's a cover for Claus who is a ""keyman"" in a superhuman telepathic organization. His real objective is to influence a major political figure into backing a governmental project to establish a ""War Section"" for the increasing mass of kill-crazy teenagers. It's a jaded society all right and its numerous problems are discussed at great length. There's action...some, but mainly there's Claus, busy with his women and his own psychological hang-ups. As we leave him he is still busy. .. You won't double your pleasure with this one.
