by Leslie Ford ‧ RELEASE DATE: May 12, 1947
Grace Latham once again interferes with justice as curiosity and intrepid foolhardiness involve her in a succession of sordid machinations. With the Colonel temporarily incommunicado- with measles, the dour Sergeant cannot restrain her as she pursues the mystery of the woman in black, the tycoon she haunted, and the murders to follow. Confusing and confused as to denouement, this is not Leslie Ford at her best.
