by Leslie Ford ‧ RELEASE DATE: March 22, 1957
Not a Colonel Primrose story. This time Leslie Ford has given her loyal coterie a woman policeman -- a romantic Cinderella story -- a murder for which nobody can be sorry but which has to be solved none the less- and as upper crust Baltimore setting. The denouement is not wholly convincing in its particulars but the process by which it is arrived at makes very good reading for a feminine-styled murder mystery.
