POSTWAR PLANS OF THE UNITED NATIONS

An exceedingly useful marshalling of facts now available on plans of respective governments and private groups within those nations, designed to give the public access to the evidence pointing the way to some of the considerations, potential controversies, likes and differences in what -- within the United Nations -- is expected after the war. Full employment, social security, more and greater productivity, higher living standards, greater economic and social equalities, variations in the role of private and public enterprise, etc. One senses inevitable conflicts and lack of coordination of international aims on the economic and social planes. No attempt to touch on political aspects.
