More campaigning against syphilis and gonorrhea by the Surgeon-Generals of the United States. Although the incidence of syphilis has been reduced a third, and gonorrhea can be cured within a few days with the new sulfanomid drugs, there is still much to be done in the fight against venereal disease. And it is more imperative today, with the need to protect the new army which is in training. A pep talk, on a grave subject. Unfortunately the material is very thin (particularly in comparison to Parran's first book on the subject -- Shadow On The Land) and very repetitious.
