RODEO PUP

Rodeo Pup is full of energy; on the way to school, he playfully charges his young owner and unravels her new fishnet stockings into yards of string! The principal disciplines the naughty dog and the mother is summoned to take Rodeo Pup home on a leash. But when the girl who narrates arrives home from school, she's surprised to find Rodeo Pup, with the stocking string, flossing his teeth. In an unlikely plot twist, Rodeo Pup becomes famous for flossing and kids the world over send him fan mail. The trick? Readers can check out the dog's real website, send him E-mail, and find out how to contact the illustrator to purchase or license her art. Rotenberg's paintings are vivacious, but the plot is suspect; it's a fairly roundabout way to advertise a website.
