by Literature Committee of the Assoc. for Childhood ‧ RELEASE DATE: N/A
A collection of Read Aloud stories dealing with children of many lands, rich in their own traditions, who learn to celebrate and understand the holidays and games of America, too. Many charming stories colored by loneliness of foreign children until they learn to accept and are accepted by their new compatriots. Children's Christmases including Indian, are a large and pleasant share of the book. All in all, it measures up well with this very excellent series, and makes its own contribution to expanding cultural relations and understanding among children.
