THE SUMMER COOKBOOK

A very nice book, to spare the lymphatic cook as well as the apathetic appetite, and while the emphasis is on cold suppers, there's the necessary balance of the hot dish. Mrs. Brunner saves money as well as time (some canned and packaged foods used), has a few really instant meals along with others which are simple enough for the inexperienced cook, and even so keeps the dishes interesting-- particularly soups, vegetables, salads. One of the better of the many.
