Most of the selections are from recent books and other writers included are Saint Exupery, Heyerdahl, Maurice Herzog, Heinrich Harrer; the classics are substantially represented by two Bible stories, a selection from Prescott's Conquest of Mexico, another from The Autobiography of Benvenuto Cellini and so forth. Each adventure has been introduced by Mr. Thomas with biographical and other data pertinent to the story. A sound collection.
