WHISPER FLIGHT: Adventures of Lt. Bob Hilton, Engineer

Glider Mission to Burma should provide plenty of action, but in spite of authentic background and detail on aerial warfare in the jungle, as a story this is slow getting under way. Bob Hilton goes on a special mission and succeeds in establishing an airfield in the jungle in the face of a threatening Jap detachment. Aided by natives, he demolishes the Jape and wins over his prejudiced English superior officer to the response of natives to American ideals of equality. Good theme, unimpressively handled.
