THE STRANGE BLUE YAWL

Jack Leeds, a musician, and his considerably younger wife Mary take a house on the Chesapeake where Mary Witnesses the murder of a woman on a blue yawl, to be followed by some phone calls. While the case remains unsolved, Mary makes some solo sorties in the vicinity, investigates several blue yawl owners, returns home with a burbling account of her activities and discoveries--- until the end which is one of the sweetest surprises in a long time.... The Sorry Wrong Number gal with another very right one.
