The good deeds of Doctor Bill Alden- and public health nurse Christine Barnesin the Westbrook slums- as they coordinate their professional activities but do not get together- otherwise- since Christine concludes wrongly about Bill. It takes a fire, in one of the tenements, in which both are injured- to rectify all this romantically. At best- inoffensive- for a conservative, chosen but not choosy few.
