Small mechanically minded boys will like this because it is about the all-engrossing automobile. A story of how Mr. Red, Mr. White, Mr. Blue and Mr. Head of the factory misused their care until they collapsed and one good car was made from the remains. Grand idea, but hurt by the injection of rhymed couplets, which take away from the simplicity of the story pattern. The illustrations by Tiber Gergeley are lively line drawings in red and blue and black. Small book. Boards.
