by Mabel Louise Robinson ‧ RELEASE DATE: Aug. 1, 1950
An excellent library and writing class book is this entirely new book by the author of many juveniles. Not a revision of her earlier Juvenile Story Writing. A general survey of writing for young people with illustrations on technique taken from her Juvenile Story Workshop at Columbia University. Beginning with a discussion of the various types of Juvenile literature -- adventure, mystery, fantasy etc., the author goes on to develop the technical aspects. Practical, workable, tried-and-true recommendations. A final chapter on Miss Robinson and her Workshop by Constance Buel Burnett.
