by Margaret Yorke ‧ RELEASE DATE: Sept. 15, 1976
Another (the first seen here) case for Dr. Grant of Oxford deals with the victim pulled out of the Thames, presumably a not too famous Shakespearean actor and ""negative man""; the suicide of a depressive lady next door; some new/old canvases, concealing a Corot; and an unlikely affiliation with foreign affairs. Nothing and no one are quite what they seem and while Miss Yorke overcrowds her plot, it's pleasantly enough written for a theatrical toffee break.
