PRIMER OF FIGURE SKATING

This is a better book for the individual aspirant to skating honors than the Diane Cummings' book (Harper) -- page 359. Where that book covers data about clubs, this sticks to the individual skater, and builds up to exhibition skating. The introductory chapter for the beginner is extraordinarily good how-to-do material. From that point, the two books are fairly parallel, both covering the main figures and forward progress towards figure skating.
