There seems to be a rash of tales about animals that want to be something else. Perhaps they are all intended to point morals. Anyhow, here is the story of the one pig in the litter who sat apart and thought about other creatures he would like to be until his thoughts wove themselves into a dream about being a hippopotamus, and he found that life was not nearly so simple a life for a pig.
